The Stock Market Experience

Stock Market Experience (SME) is an engaging online investment simulation that employs math, reading, writing, and technology skills. Over the course of a semester, students work in teams to invest their $100,000 virtual portfolio in U.S. and international exchanges and compete with student teams across the state. Because this program is real-time, students learn to make investments based on current events such as weather, regulatory changes, economics, international affairs while utilizing research and decision-making skills.
