2020 SFSP Waivers

Per the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Policy Bulletin SP15-2018, CACFP12-2018, SFSP05-2018, state agencies must submit requests to waive Child Nutrition Program requirements to their Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) regional office. The CDE School Nutrition Unit has submitted the following state-wide waivers to the Mountain Plains Regional Office for the Summer Food Service Program and Seamless Summer Option flexibilities and policies that were rescinded by the USDA FNS through SFSP 01-2019 Summer Food Service Program Memoranda Rescission. The goal of these waivers is to reinstate the rescinded flexibilities and policies to allow for efficient and cost effective program management and reduce administrative burden for sponsors and the CDE School Nutrition Unit.
