ARP ESSER III Countdown to Closeout
- Submit Request for Funds - until November 15, 2024
- Check remaining balance on the State and Federal Grant Distribution Reports.
- Ensure activities and costs in the application reflect activities that were implemented by September 30, 2024. If revisions are needed, submit a Post-Award Revision (PAR) as soon as possible.
- Ensure the LEA’s 20% Learning Loss Set-Aside is met.
- Reporting - By October 30, 2024
- Submit student participation in summer school, afterschool, extended learning opportunities, high-dosage intensive tutoring, full-service community schools, early childhood education, and educational technology use for the 2023-2024 school year; that data will be reported in the LEA Participation Survey.
- Track student participation in any summer school, afterschool, extended learning opportunities, high-dosage intensive tutoring, full-service community schools, early childhood education, and educational technology use activities between July 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024, using one of the templates on the ESSER Grantee/Subgrantee Reporting webpage.
- If a liquidation extension is needed, please submit a Late Liquidation Request by October 15, 2024.

- Ensure all ESSER monitoring requested information and documentation have been submitted to CDE.

November 2024:
- Final ARP-ESSER III RFFs due by November 15, 2024. LEAs must request reimbursement after an obligated activity has been implemented and paid by submitting a Request for Funds (RFF) on a monthly basis. View grant balances on the State and Federal Grant Distribution Reports.
- ARP-ESSER III closeout report is due November 15, 2024. Please refer to Grants Fiscal Management’s webpage for information.

- All grantees and subgrantees that have a renovation, major remodeling, construction, or real property project of $1 million or more in funds from these programs must record all Notice of Federal Interest (NFI) by January 28, 2025.
