Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) - Using Data to Make Instructional Decisions for Students with the Most Significant Cognitive Disabilities
Staff from Dynamic Learning Maps will provide a two-day training for teachers and administrators who instruct students on the extended evidence outcomes and have test results from the previous year(s). This two-day session will focus on different types of data available to guide instruction and utilize it to develop and implement instructional plans.
Dates: September 24 – 25, 2024
Time: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (both days)
DLM Registration CLOSED
**Registration does not guarantee enrollment in the training or admission. The facilitators of the class will review all registered participants and then, based on cross-participation across the state, will make a determination about who will and will not attend.
This event is a two day in-person event in Arvada, CO on September 24-25, 2024. This event will not be recorded and there will be no hybrid option.
Registration will close on September 6, 2024. Confirmation of registration will be sent out the week of September 10, 2024
Book Study Opportunity
The Colorado Department of Education SSN Network announces the return of this exciting opportunity. We will be holding a weekly Virtual Book Study on the book, Comprehensive Literacy for ALL: Teaching Students with Significant Disabilities to Read and Write by Karen Erickson and David Koppenhaver, 2020. This is an amazing time to learn and network with your colleagues across the state.
This is an opportunity for school personnel who provide literacy instruction (planning, preparation, delivery) for students who are working towards the alternate achievement standards or Extended Evidence Outcomes (EEO).
The virtual book study will begin the week of September 9th and end the week of December 16th. We are offering 3 different sessions and you can choose the day and time based on your schedule.

Extended Evidence Outcomes (EEO) Math Study
The Colorado Department of Education's SSN Network will be holding a Math Study. This module is an 8-week virtual, facilitated training & discussion that focuses on math instructional strategies for students who qualify for and receive their instruction on the Extended Evidence Outcomes (EEO). The course will begin the week of September 9 through November 19, 2024, with regular meeting times on Tuesdays from 4:30 - 5:30.
This book study group is for school personnel who are directly involved in math instruction (planning, preparation, delivery) of students who are working towards the alternate achievement standards or Extended Evidence Outcomes (EEOs).
