Promising Partnership Practices


CDE, in collaboration with the State Advisory Council for Parent Involvement in Education (SACPIE), collected practices from schools and districts about working with families for student learning.

The following Promising Partnership Practices align with the National Standards for Family-School Partnerships, adopted in Colorado legislation in 2009.

October is Family & School Partnership in Education Month

Governor Jared Polis proclaimed October as Family and School Partnership in Education Month! This month is dedicated to elevating the importance of parents, families and schools working together to help students achieve higher levels of academic performance and help them reach their full potential.
