FSCP Online Learning Center
The Family, School, and Community Partnerships Office is now offering an Online Learning Center. This learning center is a hub of online courses developed by CDE's FSCP Office.
The following courses are available to all at no charge and are self-paced. While an individual can register for any course of their choosing, each was developed with an intended audience in mind. Participants can earn CEUs upon completing course requirements.
Available Courses
Foundations of Family, School, and Community Partnerships
A four-module course to ground participants in the foundations of family, school, and community partnerships (FSCP). This course is recommended for those who are new to FSCP.
Reframing FSCP Online Academy
A ten-module course on ground-breaking research from the National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement and the FrameWorks Institute. This academy will give you tools to change the way you communicate about family, school, and community partnerships so people will understand it, appreciate it, and value it.
Colorado's P-12 FSCP Framework: User's Guide
A seven-module course intended for district and school/program staff to learn about Colorado's P12 FSCP Framework and associated Rubrics for self-assessment.
FSCP in Elementary School
A five-module follow-up course to Foundations of Family, School, and Community Partnerships intended for elementary school level staff and administrators and district staff who work closely with elementary FSCP teams.
FSCP in Middle School
A five-module follow-up course to Foundations of Family, School, and Community Partnerships intended for middle school level staff and administrators and district staff who work closely with middle school FSCP teams.
FSCP in High School
A five-module follow-up course to Foundations of Family, School, and Community Partnerships intended for high school level staff and administrators and district staff who work closely with high school FSCP teams.
Elevating Your Role as a Family Engagement Liaison
A ten-module course designed for family engagement liaisons. Content includes FSCP policy and high-impact practices.
Understanding the Role of School Accountability Committees
A five-module course that provides an overview of the role of the school accountability committee (SAC) and is intended for current and potential SAC members. A Spanish version is also available (see next course).
