Colorado Student Re-engagement Grant Program

The grant program is authorized by C.R.S. 22-14-109 to assist local education providers in providing educational services and supports to students to maintain student engagement and support student re-engagement at the secondary level. State appropriation for this new grant program began in January 2016.

Budget Revision Steps

Budget Revision – Ideally, no budget revisions during the first year, but we know things can change. If you are anticipating budget revisions…

  • Pull your latest budget from Syncplicity.
  • Make any revisions and comments and return to the SRG email (engagement_grants@cde.state.co.us).
    • In the Notes tab, please make sure to include how the proposed changes are aligned with the approved performance objectives for your program.
  • We will review the revision and let you know if we have any questions.
  • Once approved, Grants Fiscal will upload the new revised budget to Syncplicity.
  • We will let you know that it is uploaded.

2017-18 Evaluation Summary is included in the annual legislative report on dropout prevention and student re-engagement and highlighted in the program Fact Sheet. These items meet the statutory evaluation requirements in 22-14-109, C.R.S. 22-14-111.
