This course is an overview of Data Based Individualization (DBI) for students with intensive needs. The course was created in collaboration with the National Center on Intensive Intervention. The overall purpose of this series is to provide practitioners and teams with an overview of how to use the DBI process to support students with extensive needs.

This course is self-paced and can be accessed and completed any time.

Learner Objectives

Upon completion of the module's participants will: 

  • Define and understand the five steps in the data-based individualization process
  • Locate resources on the National Center on Intensive Intervention’s (NCII) website

Certificate

Upon completion of all sections course participants will be eligible to complete a brief evaluation and knowledge check. Once you complete the evaluation and quiz with 10 out of 13 questions correct; you will receive a Certificate which for three (3) hours of recertification credit. If you do not pass the quiz, you will receive an email with feedback and a link to try again.
