Enhance school safety and strengthen your learning community with our 45-minute Training Series on preventing school violence. Gain valuable insights, strategies, and resources to create a safer and more supportive environment for students and staff.

Educators, school administrators, counselors, law enforcement, and community partners invested in school safety.

Cost

There is no charge for participating in the training sessions.

March 12th, 2025 – 9:00am-9:45am - Understanding School Violence – Register using the March 12th Zoom Registration

  • Define different types of school violence (physical, verbal, emotional, cyberbullying, sexual assault).
  • Recognize potential warning signs of violence in students (behavioral changes, social isolation, threats, violent language).
  • Understand the impact of school violence on students, staff, and the school community.

May 7th, 2025  – 9:00am-9:45am - Reporting Procedures – Register using the May 7th Zoom Registration

  • Understand the importance of reporting all incidents of school violence or concerning behavior.
  • Learn proper channels and protocols for reporting school safety concerns (administrators, counselors, law enforcement).
