Colorado Data Provision CRDC

Overview

The Colorado Department of Education is dedicated to submitting the applicable data collected from local education agencies into the Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) system to assist LEAs with this federal collection.  CDE will pre-populate as much data as possible and then the LEAs will need to review the CDE pre-populated data, make updates if necessary and add the missing information in the CRDC system directly. Once completed, the LEA must finalize the data in the CRDC system.

Collection Process

Based on the approved data collected by LEAs for the CRDC reporting year, CDE has determined which fields can be pre-populated and the method to calculate the CRDC data fields based on the CRDC specifications.  Both the CRDC specifications and the CDE data field logic information is available for review.  In this document, the data fields that are indicated as not being pre-populated by CDE will be required to be reported by the LEAs directly in the CRDC reporting system.
