Program Description
This 45 hour course, "Assets-Based Language Acquisition Strategies for Emerging Bilingual Students", provides language acquisition strategies embedded in culturally responsive pedagogy making it a transformative approach to language acquisition. Utilizing culturally responsive strategies and an assets-based approach to language acquisition, educators are able to harness the strengths of multilingual students as they acquire academic English and access rigorous content.
