NEW Concussion Guidelines are Available!

The REAP (Remove/Reduce, Educate, Adjust/Accommodate, Pace) manual is the new home to Colorado's Concussion Guidelines! These updated guidelines are designed with schools in mind, while also providing valuable resources for families and medical providers. Colorado's REAP manual now includes information on how to use TACT (Teacher Acute Concussion Tool) and features the Colorado School Concussion Management Flow Chart. Get ready for a comprehensive guide to concussion management!

Concussion Action Team (CAT) meetings:

The Colorado Department of Education invites all school professionals to join our bi-monthly virtual meetings. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity to:

  • Ask Questions: Get answers to your pressing questions from experts and peers.
  • Discuss Challenges: Share and address common challenges faced in your school environment.
  • Learn New Information: Stay updated with the latest educational insights and resources.
  • Connect with Peers: Build a network with other school professionals across Colorado.
