NHTSA Recall 24T010
-
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) is recalling certain Hercules Terra Trac AT X-Venture tires, size LT265/75R16. The tires contain a tire identification number (TIN) that is missing the 4-digit week and year code mark. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 574, "Tire Identification & Recordkeeping." The inability to determine the production date of a tire can result in prolonged usage of a tire that should be replaced, or unknowingly using a tire that has been recalled. Either of these situations can increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 15, 2024. Owners may contact Goodyear customer service at 1-800-592-3267.

September 26, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the latest round of funding from the Clean School Bus Rebate Program, with up to $965 million available to school districts.

The second rebate funding opportunity is now open. More information on the latest dates and how to apply can be found on the EPA Clean School Bus Program website.
