2017 USDA Turnip the Beet Silver Winner Announced

City of Aurora (Parks, Recreation and Open Space)

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) Turnip the Beet award program recognizes Summer Meal Service Program sponsors who are working to serve nutrition and appealing meals during the summer months.  The City of Aurora (Parks, Recreation and Open Space) has earned a Silver award, and is among an elite group of 49 award-winning sponsors nationwide and the only award-winning sponsor in Colorado.  The CDE Office of School Nutrition joins FNS in their recognition of the dedicated work of the City of Aurora (Parks, Recreation and Open Space) in service to the children in Aurora.
