FREE Opportunities for ELAT Educators and Schools 2018
Individual Virtual Learning Opportunities: January 2018 through April 2018 - Multiple sessions and dates available
Help your students become better readers by more effectively and efficiently utilizing your DIBELS Next data, we are here to help!
Beginning in January, the Colorado Department of Education and Amplify will offer additional sections of our Flipped Webinar Series for: Applying DIBELS Foundations with the Outcomes-Driven Model and Advanced Progress Monitoring with DIBELS Next (both courses that we offered in the Fall of 2017). That’s right, you can make progress towards your resolutions in the comfort of your home or classroom!
Both offerings are hands on, provide 10 clock hours credit, are free, are offered at various times and allow you to immediately apply learnings to your everyday efforts:
DIBELS Foundations focuses on linking DIBELS Next measures to the early literacy skills students are working on in class while also providing a structured model of decision making that utilizes tools available through mCLASS
DIBELS Next.Advanced Progress Monitoring takes your progress monitoring to the next level by introducing a step-by-step process for effective on and off-grade level progress monitoring that helps evaluate instructional effectiveness and informs instructional next steps.
“I was able to analyze the data from my own students in order to make the course relevant to my current needs. This enabled me to put it to use right away.” - Fall Foundations Participant
“Collaboration and learning from each other in sharing our successes and concerns on how to best help students read and use the data in the most helpful way for the students."- Fall Advanced PM Participant
